今天跟大伙推荐一部由伍迪艾伦编剧并执导的喜剧爱情片，熟知伍迪艾伦的同学们，肯定大概知道这是一部什么样风格的电影了哈。为了尽可能不剧透（spoiler），下面简单为大伙介绍一下电影情节：
男主人公是由Colin Firth饰演的英国著名魔术师，大伙肯定记得他在《国王的演讲》和《王牌特工：特工学院》里面的精彩表演。女主就是大家的石头姐Emma Stone，她在电影里饰演一位自称psychic（灵媒）的少女，来挑战男主的三观。当然，但凡有点儿观影经验的娃们，都了解他两个最后一定走到了一块对不？嗯，不过呢，男主已经有fiancee（未婚妻）啦，就是下面这位：
We're a match made in heaven.
下次再想说“天造地设的一对儿”，就携带一口英伦腔，把这句话甩出来吧！绝对高端大气上档次！
故事的开始，女主和女主的妈咪就开始对富人家坑蒙拐骗，让女土豪相信她可以召回她故去老公的灵魂，并与之对话。这位空虚寂寞冷的土豪对她深信不疑，并且说她是一位uplifting creature（someone who can make you feel happier or giving you more hope）。并且要给女主设立基金会，专门研究该范围的神奇现象，真是太好骗了…… 下面就是土豪姐和骗子妈咪之间的对话：

To trust somebody to do something or to be sure that something will happen.
下次想跟他们保证自己非常可靠的时候，就能说You can count on me!

A person or thing is more complicated or interesting than you might think at first. 可以翻译成“某人/某物要比看着复杂的多”。
这里的trouble可以理解成extra effort，对应大家的“费劲儿，麻烦”。比如：
I don't want to put you to a lot of trouble.
She went to a lot of trouble to find the book for me.
Nothing is ever too much trouble for her .
come to nothing/not come to anything
To be unsuccessful or to have no successful result. 比如：
How sad that all his hard work should come to nothing.
Her plans didn't come to anything.
be living proof of something / that…
To show by your actions or qualities that a particular fact is true. 可以形象的讲解为“活生生的例子/证据”。比如：
These figures are living proof of the government's incompetence.
He is living proof that not all engineers are boring.
no/ little/ small wonder …
It is not surprising. 难怪，怪不能… 比如：
No wonder you're tired, you've been walking for hours.
Be smitten
Suddenly feeling that you are in love with somebody or something. 比如：
From the moment they met, he was completely smitten by her.
类似的还有be taken with somebody/something，不过这个感情色彩不是非常没刚刚的强烈，它表示 to find somebody/ something attractive or interesting. 比如：
We were all very taken with his girlfriend.
I think he's quite taken with the idea.
